Kris Clutter

Kris interned with the PLO in 2010 as an undergrad at UIC. Kris has been a legal worker at the People’s Law Office since 2012. Before coming to the PLO Kris was a legal runner for criminal defense attorney Michael Metnick for 6 years at his Springfield based firm Metnick, Cherry, Frazier, and Sabin.

While in college Kris served on the board of Citizen’s Alert, a police watchdog organization, and assisted the wonderful and legendary Mary Powers. Kris also helped organize and start the Chicago chapter of Black and Pink, an open family of LGBTQ prisoners and “free world” allies who support each other. Currently, Kris is active and serves on the board of the National Lawyers Guild Chicago chapter. Kris enjoys a good Drag Show, people with big personalities, and listening to the Spice Girls to help keep his spirits high while working towards a world without prisons.
